ICEJ works to promote Israel's case in Norway and internationally, based on the Biblical mandate from Isaiah 40:1, "Comfort, yes comfort my people." For presents to ICEJ, use our online service www.icej.no. In the autumn of 1980 established evangelical Christians from around 20 nations the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. This happened with the first Christian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem.
The purpose was to provide a practical expression of the world's believers to bless Zion. The embassy was opened by the international community rejected Israel's determination that Jerusalem was the Jewish state's "eternal and indivisible" capital, and 13 countries moved their embassies from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv.
Today represented Christians from all over the world by its own embassy in Jerusalem, an international channel of Christian care and love for Israel and the Jewish people.
